Elephants have been acknowledged as sentient beings & there is something powerful in the connection that I witnessed amongst these three elephants.
I am always looking for images that connect emotionally & I think this is one of them. By converting to black & white it gives the image almost a biblical element with the dark storm clouds, & elephants connected by the gentle touching of the trunk from the elephant in the waterhole & the more forceful connection from the elephant behind pushing the other forward. To me it looks like a “blessing”.
