10% of print sales go to these amazing charities.

It is very important to me that I support various conservation e2orts through my work. So with the 10% contribution from any print sale, I have chosen to support these four charities. Two of these- Big Cats Initiative & Kicheche Community Trust I have a personal connection to & the two others- Amboseli Trust & Polar Bears International have become important to me as my work is increasingly focused in Amboseli & the Arctic.

During my time at National Geographic, I was responsible for curating & commissioning the Big Cat Week/Month programming internationally. This line up of programmes was designed to support the mission of the Big Cats Initiative and through this I developed close working relationships with several wildlife filmmakers including Dereck & Beverly Joubert, Shannon Benson & Shaaz Jung. Apart from my home in London, I have spent more time at the various Kicheche camps across the last 15 years than anywhere else in the world. The conservancies are some of the best in Africa, but these take careful management for the wildlife & communities, so I am keen to support Kicheche Community Trust & the work they do more locally. Simply put the Amboseli Trust for Elephants charity has become both a valuable resource for me as I spend more time in Amboseli and deepened my understanding of Elephant behaviour through their 50 years of research & monitoring. They do incredible work in Amboseli.

I had the pleasure of meeting some of the team from Polar Bears International recently in London. As a large part of my portfolio is dedicated to Polar Bears it was great to form a closer relationship with them. As the only conservation charity dedicated solely to wild polar bears they also have amazing resources & research that help with their mission to build a sustainable future for polar bears in the Arctic.
