2025: MY TOP 20 WILDLIFE IMAGES

In 2025 I travelled back to some familiar places both at home & abroad, but also ventured to some new countries & environments to further develop my fine art wildlife photography portfolio.

This collection showcases my creative ambition not only of getting fresh & surprising images of iconic species such as Lions, Elephants & Polar Bears, but also unique images of species I’ve never photographed before such as Emperor Penguins, Iberian Lynx & Icelandic horses.

My first journey to Antarctica was undoubtedly one of the wildlife highlights of the year. Its pristine, haunting beauty, combined with multiple encounters with Antarctica’s penguin species, especially the emperor penguins made for an unforgettable and deeply privileged experience.

I have written extensively in my Photo Stories not only about some of the species I encountered but also the destinations themselves. Several images in this collection are from my time in Mokete with Russell MacLauglin. Mokete is one of Bostswana’s newest safari destination and I can’t recommend it highly enough. Read my story here.

None of these images would have been possible without the exceptional guides and camps I continue to work with. I’m sincerely grateful to all of you:
