I initially thought that these two young elephants were having some kind of tussle but my guide told me that these elephants were likely related & were actually having a “cuddle” as a way of greeting one another with their trunks. They seemed entwined with one another for a period of time & I tried to capture as many different images of this behavior in different compositions. I like the symmetry of this image as their trunks touch. It was extremely moving to watch their interactions.
